In the Fall preceding your child's potential enrollment you are invited to attend an Open House or a Classroom Observation Morning. The admission deadline for Early Childhood (Nursery, Pre-K, Kindergarten) and First Grade 2011 is 9th December 2010. We continue to accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the year until all of our classes are full. If a wait pool is established, the school will consider students from the pool who contribute to balanced classrooms.

Admissions Events Schedule 2010-2011

Our Family Open Houses are really one of the best ways to get to know us. Throughout the morning you can take tours with WSP families, visit classrooms, view our students' work, and talk to our teachers, staff, parents and students. There will be talks from both Grades and Early Childhood Faculty as well as an opportunity for your young child to participate in an Early Childhood class complete with free-play, bread-baking and a puppet play. For the adults and older children there will be a mini lesson held in one of the Grades classrooms.

Evening Open Houses

Talks from Early Childhood teachers and Grades teachers who will explain the Waldorf teaching philosophy and what leads most of our families and visitors to say "I wish I'd had this type of education as a child". Come and discover why Waldorf education is one of the fastest growing educational movements worldwide.

Classroom Observation Mornings

The Classroom Observation Mornings include a tour of the school, visits to the Early Childhood and Grades classrooms and talks from our teachers allowing plenty of opportunity to have your questions answered. These events are extremely well attended and space is limited, please call ahead for a reservation.

In addition to these admissions events please consider visiting our school during the Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 20th 2010. The Holiday Fair is one of our most beloved traditions. It is a wonderful way to get to know our community, won't you please come join us.
