| The early childhood programs at The Waldorf School of Philadelphia create a healthy environment for young children to learn through imaginative and active play, stories, songs and hands-on practical activities. The beautiful environment of the classroom, simple playthings, and organic rhythms of the day and the year keep alive the openness, creativity and wonder of the young child. This approach stimulates the imagination, develops the intellect, and lays a foundation for the academic work of the Grades School.
